HFP has the knowledge and experience to consult on the specialized needs of the healthcare industry.  Medical facilities have unique acoustical and vibration concerns that impact the performance of their precision instrumentation and the quality of their patients’ treatments.  Some of these topics include but are not limited to:

 

Patient Confidentiality – Patients’ medical records and their doctors’ advice should be kept confidential.  HFP works with medical facilities through wall design and/or sound masking systems to provide the acoustical environment for confidential treatment.

MRI Isolation – These units represent a significant financial investment for medical facilities.  MRI equipment generates acoustical and vibration energy that can pass into the building’s structure if not properly isolated.  It will then be re-radiated as noise in adjacent rooms and floors, and can even be carried longer distances.
